| Wellness Exams |
All pets should have an annual examination prior to receiving their
vaccinations. These exams are important in allowing us to determine
if your animal can safely receive vaccines and also help us find
other health problems early on. The visit is also a good time to
express any concerns you may have regarding your pet's health or
behavior.
|
| General Exams |
General exams are provided for any pet that is having medical,
surgical, or behavior problems.
|
| Senior Exams |
Twice yearly exams are encouraged because problems occur at an
accelerated pace in seniors. We also recommend a blood profile and
urinalysis to help us catch problems early in their course and start
treatment.
|
| Vaccinations |
Rabies vaccinations are required by state law for dogs and are
good for 3 years in adult dogs. For new puppies the rabies shot
needs updating at one year.
Other vaccinations are needed to provide your pet protection against
common infections. The doctors and staff can explain which vaccinations
are needed and also provide a schedule for new puppy and kitten
vaccinations. Most boarding and grooming facilities require that
animals be current on vaccines. We will be happy to provide you
with the vaccine records for this purpose.

| Surgery |
Pet Care Clinic performs spays, neuters, feline declawing, in addition
to soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. We have laser surgery available
as an option for declaws.
|
| Dental |
Annual dental exams and teeth cleaning are recommended. They help
ensure a healthier pet by decreasing the chance of bacterial infections,
kidney problems and heart disease. Dental problems can cause chronic
infections and pain that can affect your pet's quality of life.
We have specialized dental x-ray available to help in the management
of your pet's dental health.

the laboratory equipment with the latest technology available. We
are able to run extensive blood work in-house, providing quicker diagnosis
and subsequent treatment to help ensure a faster recovery. We can
also perform radiology and ultrasonography. |
