Dr. Madura graduated from Colorado State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and started practicing medicine in Boise that year. She purchased the practice, Pet Care Clinic, in 2006 from Dr. Michael Peterson. She is married and has three children, three dogs, two cats and a rat. When she is not working she enjoys baking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her children.

Connie Cannady, DVM
Dr. Cannady grew up in Wisconsin loving animals. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Dr. Cannady practiced small animal medicine and surgery in North Carolina after graduation. After her second child was born in 2000, she took time off from practice to care for her children . She also got a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. After returning to practice, Dr. Cannady studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in 2013-2014 through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She also provided small animal in-home euthanasia and hospice services to families in the Western North Carolina area from 2014-2017 and worked part-time at an Integrative small animal practice, using Western medicine and acupuncture to treat dogs and cats.
In 2018, Dr. Cannady, her husband, 3 cats and their Plott hound, Lucy, relocated to Boise. She worked at a feline only practice, but she decided she didn’t want to limit her practice-life to one species. Dr. Cannady is very excited to be working at Pet Care Clinic.When she isn’t working, Dr. Cannady enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Idaho with her husband, Sam. She also likes reading, cooking, skiing, car camping and gardening.

We at Pet Care Clinic take pride in employing a well trained and compassionate staff. We are pleased to have two certified veterinary technicians in our practice. To become licensed as a veterinary technician they must pass a state board exam and often 2 to 4 years of schooling. Our staff attends educational courses both in and out of the clinic throughout the year; to ensure they stay current in the advances of veterinary medicine.
